KTMB’s Truckee River Clean Up - Planting, Pick up Trash, Spread Mulch
Brodhead Park
Saturday, September 26th, 2026, from 10:00am-12:00pm
Pick your spot and jump in! Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful is organizing their annual Truckee River Cleanup volunteer event. Volunteers are needed to help us clean up over 20 sites along the Truckee River Corridor and tributaries. These sites range from illegal dumping sites to invasive weed removal, native plantings, trash pickup, tree wrapping to protect against beavers, and so much more.
As a part of the event, One Truckee River is organizing a cleanup of Brodhead Park. Join us to help beautify this park and the adjoining riverbank pathway through the planting of native flowers, shrubs, and trees. A litter pickup will also take place, preventing waste from entering the Truckee River.
